According to the student pilot, while attempting a crosswind landing, the airplane veered to the right and went off the runway. The airplane rolled into the grassy area adjacent to the runway, collided with a ditch, and nosed over. No mechanical problems were reported by the student pilot.

Factual narrative
On April 5, 1995, at 1200 eastern standard time, a Cessna 150, N19375, nosed over in a ditch after the pilot lost control of the airplane while landing at the Cherokee County Airport near Canton, Georgia. The supervised solo flight operated under the provisions of 14 CFR Part 91 with no flight plan filed. Visual weather conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The airplane sustained substantial damage, and the student pilot was not injured. The local flight departed Canton, at 1100 hours. The student pilot stated that shortly after the airplane touched down on runway 4, it veered off the right side of the runway, collided with a ditch, and nosed over. The student also reported that there was a light left crosswind at the time of the accident. No mechanical problems with the airplane were reported. -
