Factual narrative
On February 23, 1995, at 1028 eastern standard time, a Cessna 152, N757ZQ, registered to Flight One, Owosso, Michigan, was substantially damaged when it struck a snowbank while landing at Owosso Community Airport, Owosso, Michigan. The solo student pilot, who was practicing takeoffs and landings, reported no injuries. The 14 CFR Part 91 flight operated in visual meteorological conditions without flight plan. After practicing several takeoffs and landings with his flight instructor on a dual instructional flight, the student pilot reported he began to practice several solo takeoffs and landings. According to the student pilot, after landing on runway 28 at Owosso, the airplane veered to the right and impacted a snowbank. The student pilot reported that the condition of the runway at the time of the accident was dry. No preimpact mechanical or flight control anomalies were reported. -
