Probable cause

The pilot failed to maintain aircraft contyrol. A factor was turbulence.

Analysis narrative

The aircraft encountered turbulence during a crosswind approach to a private grass strip. The pilot lost control of the aircraft and the right wing impacted trees and terrain.
