While conducting an agricultural spraying flight, the engine lost power and the pilot conducted a forced landing to a plowed field. During landing roll, the aircraft nosed over in soft terrain. Examination of the engine provided no evidence of mechanical failure or malfunction.

Factual narrative
On June 22, 1994, at 0800 central daylight time, a Grumman G- 164A, N6535, was substantially damaged during a forced landing to a plowed field near Parkin, Arkansas. The pilot was not injured and the aircraft sustained substantial damage. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for this aerial application flight and no flight plan was filed. According to the pilot, a complete power loss occurred while maneuvering during an aerial application flight. Examination of the engine by an FAA inspector provided no information as to the reason the engine lost power, and the pilot provided no information in that regard. During the forced landing, the airplane nosed over in soft terrain. -
