The pilot stated that during the takeoff roll from the private unimproved airstrip the airplane struck a known high spot on the runway. The nose of the airplane pitched downward and started to porpoise. The airplane went through a bean field, over a ditch, veered to the right, and nosed over coming to rest inverted.

Factual narrative
On August 7, 1996, about 0700 central daylight time, a Grumman G-164A, N665U, registered to Masters Flying Service, operating as a 14 CFR Part 137 aerial application flight, crashed on takeoff from a private unimproved strip in the vicinity of Marks, Mississippi. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed and no flight plan was filed. The airplane sustained substantial damage. The commercial pilot reported no injuries.
